MARTIN MARGIELA IN BERLIN is an exhibition of works by Martin Margiela at Galerie Konrad Fischer in Berlin. The gallery presents the artist's first exhibition with it and in Germany, on the occasion of Berlin Art Week. Margiela, a former fashion designer who has devoted himself to art since 2008, shows the sculpture Audience (2026) built from reclaimed cinema seating, together with manipulated everyday objects and images of heads and faces. Walls and opaque painter's sheeting divide the space into a series of partitioned zones that give intimacy and privacy to works and visitors alike.
