"Mein Nachbar Totoro" is an animated feature film. The siblings Satsuki and Mei move with their father into an old farmhouse in the countryside, close to their mother, who is in hospital. There Mei discovers the gentle forest spirit Totoro, who becomes the sisters' protector, and together they experience a summer full of adventures. Hayao Miyazaki's film is considered a classic of its genre, telling of everyday magic, a love of nature and family.
