At "Mitmachen Lesetraining | 1.-3. Klasse", children practise reading German for 15 minutes with reading mentors. The programme is run by the Central and State Library Berlin and is aimed at children aged 6 and up, in grades 1 to 3, who need support learning to read. The children collect points for each session and receive a small surprise after five sessions. Registration is required, bookable in quarter-hour units.
