„Mother“ [마더] is a film by Bong Joon-ho starring Kim Hye-ja, Won Bin and Jin Goo. An herbal medicine seller lives in a small Korean town with her adult son Do-joon, who depends on her support in everyday life. When a schoolgirl is murdered, he becomes a suspect and is arrested, while the police seem ready to close the case. His mother is convinced of his innocence and, with no one willing to help, starts investigating herself – but the more determined her search becomes, the more threatening the truth she might uncover begins to seem.
