A family outing called 'Nachts im Britzer Garten – Tour für Familien' takes participants aged six and up through the park after dark, searching for nocturnal animals with torches. It is run by Freilandlabor Britz e.V., a friends' association for nature education in Britzer Garten. Guide Dirk Kuring hopes the group will still be able to observe some of the last bats of the season. The meeting point is the park entrance at Buckower Damm.
