NETWORKS & POLITICS is a discussion event about digital resilience in hardware and software. It is hosted by Wikimedia Deutschland and the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V., whose talk series brings together civil society, technical communities and politics to discuss global internet policy and its national effects. Drawing on current study results on the digital infrastructure of universities and research institutions, it asks how digital self-determination can be secured in the long term and what role open standards and open-source technologies play. The panel features Prof. Jeanette Hofmann, Dr. Henriette Litta and Erik Moeller, moderated by Lukas Kick.
