'Not Just Built on Sand. Histories of Church and City' is a base exhibition at the Spandovia Sacra museum in Spandau's old town. It shows how closely the history of Spandau is tied to the St. Nicholas congregation. Members of the parish help shape life in the city, and their stories are known from parish registers and other records of the Nicholas archive. The journey through the centuries reaches from the Middle Ages to today; afterwards, an adjoining café invites visitors to linger.
