“On the Sea” is a drama about shellfish farmer Jack, who keeps the family business running through hard work and unconditional discipline on the rough coast of North Wales. Over the years he has built a stable life with his wife Maggie without ever being able to ask what he really wants from life. He gets answers when the younger deckhand Daniel appears in the remote community and makes no secret of how attractive he finds Jack. The film comes from director Helen Walsh and stars Barry Ward, Lorne Macfadyen and Liz White.
