The film follows the Kim family, who scrape by on odd jobs in a cramped semi-basement apartment. When their son Ki-woo becomes a tutor to the wealthy Park family, the other Kims gradually find their way into the Parks' spacious house too, with ingenuity and forged references while keeping their family ties a secret. Their plan seems to be working, but the comfortable life rests on a web of lies that could collapse at any moment. Directed by Bong Joon-ho and starring Song Kang-ho, Lee Sun-kyun and Cho Yeo-jeong, the film was released in 2019 and runs 132 minutes.
