„Pferd am Stiel“ is a film about the friends Sarah and Dilek, who, while searching for a new cool hobby, stumble upon a Finnish trend: Hobby Horsing! The hobby-horse sport is definitely new, but its coolness does not immediately catch the eye of all their schoolmates. Their friendship is put to the test, and the question is whether the two can hop over every hurdle with their self-made horses. Also: is the Hobby Horse championship in Finland a realistic career leap or just an unreachable dream?
