"Resonanzraum Giannozzo Berlin" is an exhibition paying tribute to the artist Rolf Langebartels, who passed away in January 2024, and to Berlin's first sound gallery, which he founded in 1978. On display are his sound installation "Fallen", a section on the history of the Giannozzo Gallery featuring previously unpublished photos, documents and objects, as well as the new sound installation "1/f Pendulums" by Seiji Morimoto, Langebartels' longtime assistant. The exhibition opens on this evening, presenting a project that spans from the beginnings of site-specific and context-specific art involving music and sound art in late 1970s Berlin to the present day. It is organized by singuhr e.v. and admission is free.
