„Helmut Newton‘s One-off Album“ is an exhibition at the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin, presenting a unique photo album by the photographer for the first time in Berlin. It shows 103 small-format original prints in black-and-white and colour in various image formats, selected by Newton and the collector Gert Elfering in 1999 and mounted on a backing board. The prints are handwritten with a title or a supplementary story about the respective image, were never bound, have since been framed individually and can now be viewed side by side. The album, which has meanwhile entered the Nicola Erni Collection, includes iconic fashion photographs as well as previously unseen work prints, Polaroids and advertising pictures.
