Sabar Workshops 2026 is a series of drumming and dance workshops at Haus der Kulturen der Welt. It is hosted by Haus der Kulturen der Welt as part of the series Sabar, Polyrhythm, and the Politics of Body Movement, led by Nago Guèye Koité & SAF SAP. The workshops explore sabar, a sound language that grew from the oral traditions of Senegal's Wolof, Lébou and Sérère communities. The project contributes to the house's Politics of Rhythm initiative, which embraces collective movement as a practice of togetherness.
