The Salon im Zentrum am Zoo takes a look behind the film scenes of the GDR under the theme "80 Jahre DEFA". Together with Stefanie Eckert, chairwoman of the DEFA-Stiftung, the audience takes a closer look at films between ideology and everyday life – housing, leisure, wanderlust and life in the GDR. Short film sequences, surprising insights and above all time for conversation, memories and different perspectives round things off. The event is for everyone who would like to see the DEFA once again through different eyes.
