»Same Sun – Mit dem Fahrrad durch Afrika« is a documentary about a bicycle journey through Africa. In October 2023, Wiebke Lühmann sets off from Freiburg and rides 20,000 kilometres through 22 countries – through Morocco and the Sahara and along the West African coast to Angola, Namibia and South Africa. After around 15,000 kilometres something tips, and the goal seems further away than ever. It is a story of courage, doubt and encounters, showing that it is not pure independence that makes you strong, but the connection to the people along the way and to yourself.
