As the fourth event in the series "Science for Fiction", Emma Braslavsky reads from "Ich bin dein Mensch". The novel follows couples therapist Dr. Alma Felser, who rejects hubot love yet dares an extraordinary experiment by ordering an android tailored perfectly to her, only to fail against her own ideals. The event is hosted by the Bruno-Loesche-Bibliothek of the Berlin-Mitte city libraries. After the reading, Braslavsky, the audience and a scientific expert explore questions such as how much science lies in science fiction, how close it is to what is technically possible today, and what real understanding is versus perfect simulation.
