A world music concert of klezmer melodies, love songs and dance music from Eastern Europe, the Balkans and Turkey, taking place in the Kammermusiksaal. Behind the evening is the London ensemble She’Koyokh, which rose from street music to internationally celebrated performances, joined by the Alevi-Kurdish singer Çiğdem Aslan. The programme brings klezmer melodies, love songs from Anatolia, songs from Bosnia and dance music from Serbia to Ukraine, carried by Aslan's gentle yet passionate voice. The ensemble's name comes from Yiddish and means something like 'Well done!'.
