This is a book launch in Berlin about the Berlin photographer Eva Kemlein. The authors Erica Fischer and Simone Ladwig-Winters take the audience on a journey through Kemlein's life. As a Jewish woman, she survived the Nazi era in the Berlin underground and after the war used her camera to document the city's political and cultural rebirth, capturing life in East and West Berlin. The Berlin Museum manages her estate and makes it accessible to researchers and the public.
