The Lichtenberg Gespräch 2026 is a discussion event on the relationship between human rights and business. It is jointly organised by the German Commission Justitia et Pax and the Katholische Akademie in Berlin, moderated by Dr. Jörg Lüer. The panel brings together Matthias Berninger (Bayer), Miriam-Lena Horn (DGB), Dr. Andreas Nicolin (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy) and Prof. Dr. Dr. Johannes Wallacher. At its core is the question of whether human rights are a competitive disadvantage, or how human rights protection can become a business advantage; the event is also broadcast via livestream.
