The exhibition 'Tanzflächen der Wiedervereinigung' at Kraftwerk shows the social upheaval surrounding the fall of the Wall as seen by club, subcultural and youth culture in Berlin and eastern Germany. More than 30 stories and contributions from private and institutional archives, personal memories and artistic positions create a many-voiced picture of a time between new departures and loss, fresh freedoms, conflict and radical change. The contributions lead from Berlin clubs to eastern German cities and rural areas, and from pre-1989 youth and subcultures to the open spaces of the post-reunification years. Visitors can experience the former cult club and the extraordinary industrial building.
