Irish novelist Kevin Barry presents his recent novel „The Heart in Winter“ and talks about his writing with Bard College Berlin faculty member Andreas Martin Widmann, on the occasion of its German publication. The darkly comic, lyrical Western is set in Montana in 1891, where two lovers on the run flee across the frozen American frontier with dangerous men on their trail. The bilingual event features readings in English by Kevin Barry and in German by actress Cristin König. Admission is free, and tickets can be reserved through Eventbrite.
