A concert of tango, waltz, film music, swing, klezmer and songs at Café Tasso. The Malinka Band formed in 2019 from musicians who had previously played in various Berlin bands. The group plays melodies of the 1950s, 60s and 70s from Ukraine, Germany and Poland. During the concert, jokes and “true stories” about life in Odessa and Jewish small towns are also told.
