On the theme rides, historic trams set off on a round trip through the Berlin network. Conductors share interesting facts about the vehicles and the route during the ride, and tickets are available from them on board. The exact departure times and departure points as well as details of which vehicles are used are announced about one to two weeks before the ride on the association's homepage and Facebook page. Behind the offer is the volunteer-run Denkmalpflege-Verein Nahverkehr Berlin e.V. (heritage transport association).
