"Todas las Sangres / Uyariy" is a documentary about the massacre in Juliaca on 9 January 2023, leading through the Puno region via the music and songs of artists from the southern Andes. It links testimonies of relatives of the victims with historical processes of repression, indigenous uprisings and struggles for identity, set in the context of Peru's recent memory history. It was directed by Javier Corcuera from Lima, Peru, a founding member of DOCMA and co-director of the Sahara Film Festival, who joins an online talk afterwards. Behind the name Todas las Sangres stands the Peruvian Intercultural Centre, an initiative of the Peruvian diaspora in Berlin for cultural resistance and solidarity.
