The exhibition "Stone Standing in the Wind" presents new paintings by Tu Hongtao. It is his first solo exhibition in Germany. The abstract works were made after his move from Chengdu to Hong Kong and respond to the vertical density and visual saturation of his surroundings. They treat speed less as an external condition than as an interior state – a sensation of floating and falling that comes with life in a hyper-networked world.
