"Was war und was wird" is a play by Lutz Hübner and Sarah Nemitz, staged here as its Berlin premiere. Karin Bares directs, with Jacqueline Macaulay and Markus Gertken performing. It follows a couple in midlife who act out their own past, present and future. Questions about remembering, choices and shared life are explored with existential, moving and tragicomic force.
