The Deutsche Islam Akademie in central Berlin invites parents to the module "Islam & Schule" of its series "Werde Expert*in für Chancengleichheit an Schulen!", running from 11 to 14. It is the third of five modules in a course series for parents who want their children to go through school without prejudice. In this module, Ender Çetin, an imam and educational scientist, covers how parents can raise topics concerning their child and Islam at school, such as Ramadan, prayer or sports. Participation is free of charge; registration is by email to eltern@deutsche-islam-akademie.de.
