A talk on beauty standards, body image and the psychological effects of social media such as Instagram and TikTok. Model and content creator Sarina Nowak and clinical psychologist Pauline Stockmann speak, moderated by Tsellot Melesse. The talk takes place in partnership with Dove as part of the accompanying programme for the Social Studies exhibition by Lauren Greenfield at Fotografiska Berlin. It ties in with the installation The Beauty Machine, which shows how supposedly diverse beauty images increasingly align through algorithmic influences.
