„Wissen macht Gesellschaft“ is a half-day academic conference followed by dinner and a networking evening. It is organised by OpenRewi e.V., an initiative dedicated to questions around open knowledge. Its focus is on topics such as freedom of information, academic freedom and the judiciary, as well as the question of how open access to knowledge can strengthen democratic and constitutional structures. The programme includes a keynote, talks, workshops and a panel discussion; all catering is fully vegan.
