„Witness: Arctic Indigenous Voices“ is a programme of short documentaries running 3 to 6 minutes each. Behind it is „Witness“, an initiative for training in short documentary filmmaking that supports the work of Indigenous filmmakers from the global circumpolar Arctic. In the films, the filmmakers document the effects of climate change as they experience them in their home regions – not to offer solutions, but to capture their perspectives and raise awareness of urgent problems that affect all of humanity. A talk with the filmmakers follows the screenings.
