An After Dark Visit to the Viewing Platform is a rare evening opening of the castle's rooftop, offering views over the lights of London. Visitors are admitted in 20-minute timeslots in groups of up to ten, with access via a spiral staircase and no lift, and the event goes ahead in almost all weather. Afterwards, the Tea Room serves hot chocolate and seasonal treats stocked from local small businesses.
