A solo play in which Virginia Woolf delivers a withering critique of patriarchy, drawing on her novels The Waves, Orlando and To the Lighthouse and her essay A Room of One's Own to reveal her clarity on women and her vulnerability. It was written and is performed by Lucy Stevens, an actor, singer and theatre maker who creates new work telling women's stories, and is directed by Scotsman Fringe First award winner Margarett Perry. The play celebrates women winning their freedom in literature and champions writers from the past to inspire the voices of the future. It runs for 70 minutes with no interval.
