Arcadia is a solo exhibition of paintings by Katie Allen at Cube Gallery. She lives in South Wales, and the show presents a sequence of idealised landscapes inspired by that region. Drawing on the Renaissance revival of Arcadia as a symbol of untouched nature and poetic calm, she applies layered acrylics to aluminium and dibond panels in her signature style, producing a dynamic, ever-evolving body of work.
