Art Book Club is a relaxed, friendly monthly discussion of an art-related book, held in the Clocktower Café. It is run by the Museum of Croydon as part of a programme of events around its current exhibition, Shaping Croydon: Architecture and Ambition, which explores the area's architectural past, present, and future through the lens of local photographers. This session looks at 'The Use of Photography' by Annie Ernaux and Marc Marie, a meditation on eroticism, photography and writing by the 2022 Nobel Prize in Literature laureate, newly translated into English by Alison L. Strayer. Visitors can join the museum's WhatsApp community or simply turn up.
