An evening talk at the Society of Antiquaries on Britain's dark folklore, from occult practitioners and haunted barrows to Victorian cemeteries, bodies hidden in the wych elm and the devil himself. Tom Templar, lead singer of the hard rock band Green Lung, is in conversation with historian Thomas Williams FSA, author of Viking Britain and Lost Realms, about his lyrical inspiration and Britain's ancient and uncanny past. The evening includes a display of the Society's antiquarian collections on the history and folklore of the British landscape, and the ticket includes a complimentary drink.
