A chamber music concert titled 'Bacewicz and Enescu' at Wigmore Hall. The Purcell School Chamber Soloists, directed by internationally acclaimed British violinist Alex Redington, perform Grażyna Bacewicz's Quartet for Four Violins and George Enescu's String Octet in C Op. 7. Redington, Head of Strings at The Purcell School of Music and founding first violinist of the Doric String Quartet, leads the ensemble in Enescu's monumental Octet. The concert lasts approximately one hour without an interval and is promoted by The Purcell School.
