David and his fiancée Meg prepare for a Shabbat dinner in New York City where their families meet for the first time. Meg, a convert to Judaism, faces challenges from David's overbearing 'Jewish-Mother' and the rest of his quirky family. The dinner takes a shocking turn when an unexpected death occurs, forcing the family to hide the incident from Meg's unexpectedly arriving Catholic parents. Subtitles are available.
