The BIS Two-Day Symposium: Beyond the Moon 2026 is an annual two-day conference on how humanity can expand beyond lunar bases into the wider solar system. It is organised by the British Interplanetary Society and brings together members, scientists, engineers, policymakers and thought leaders. The programme covers technical and societal challenges such as radiation protection, sustainable habitats, advanced propulsion and governance, with workshops and networking for the next generation of space professionals. It takes place in person at the society's headquarters or online via Zoom and includes a light lunch.
