An online Bow Skills talk for artists and creative entrepreneurs on managing taxes as a self-employed artist, micro-business or Community Interest Company. It is led by Kenneth Tsang, a Chartered Accountant and founder of the London-based firm Tika Accountancy, who has over 16 years of professional accounting and tax experience. The practical session covers key filing requirements and Self-Assessment deadlines, how taxable profits and tax liabilities are calculated, the forthcoming Making Tax Digital requirements, tracking income and expenses, allowable business expenses, differences between sole traders, limited companies and CICs, and when to work with an accountant. It ends with a Q&A where participants can ask questions about their own practice, and no previous experience is required.
