Broadwater Farm phase 2, new homes – Meet the Contractor is a drop-in event where residents and the local community can learn about the construction of new homes on the former Tangmere site. It is run by the Broadwater Farm Project team, who will be joined by the Formation team working on the site and the DCK team working on estate improvements. Visitors can view plans and designs of the new homes, learn about the housing allocation process for the 139 new council homes being delivered, and find out how the external major works programme is progressing. The event takes place at Broadwater Farm Community Centre, in the Jazz Cafe.
