This is a workshop on building solidarity across cultural contexts, exploring how activism, storytelling and embodied practice can connect different struggles. It is led collaboratively by theatre maker and Birkbeck Senior Lecturer Molly Flynn and Oksana Potapova, a feminist decolonial scholar and facilitator from Ukraine. Grounded in embodied social justice, decolonial praxis and arts-based methods, it uses somatic, theatre-based and narrative practices. It is aimed at activists and theatre practitioners asking how solidarity can be built in our times.
