A Carnatic vocal performance by Savita Sundaresan, an accomplished vocalist trained by Dr. Mala Swamy for the past 17 years after initial training under Guru Sampath Kumar Acharya. She has performed for over a decade across India, the UK and the U.S., and is a regular in the December Margazhi season at sabhas such as Krishna Gana Sabha, Vani Mahal and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. She is joined by Vivek Dinesh, a London-based carnatic violinist also studying western classical violin at the Royal College of Music, and RN Prakash, a versatile percussionist specialising in the ghatam, khanjira and mridangam.
