Conway Hall News Club is a gathering where people discuss and challenge the news they consume together, making media use a collective and empowering activity. It is hosted by Media Revolution and Conway Hall Ethical Society, who run their first News Club here. In Conway Hall's historic Library, participants will look at headlines and reporting, using the Media CAPE toolkit, and are encouraged to bring stories or articles from their own communities. The event aims to strengthen media literacy, reduce susceptibility to disinformation, and deepen understanding of how powerful interests shape public opinion, and anyone aged 16 and over is welcome.
