An intimate masterclass on Raga Kamas, part of Darbar Festival 2026. It is led by Jayanthi Kumaresh, one of the foremost veena artists of her generation, playing the saraswati veena. She opens up the raga's lakshana, signature prayogas and gamakas, and shows how a structured alapana is built phrase by phrase. Students also learn Muthuswami Dikshitar's kṛiti Santana Gopalakrsnam, exploring fingering techniques, kalpanaswara, neraval and manodharma on the veena.
