Day of the Dead Evening Fiesta is an adults-only after-dark celebration of Día de Muertos held in the museum's Conservatory, with candlelit altars, Mexican street food, tequila and mezcal cocktails and a festive night of music and dance. It is presented by the Horniman Museum and Gardens in partnership with MexiBrit, and features Venezuelan singer-songwriter Luzmira Zerpa alongside a live performance and a Sonidero DJ bringing the sounds of Mexico City's street parties to London. Guests are welcomed with a signature cocktail into a beautifully illuminated setting inspired by Mexico City's cantinas, plazas and cultural nightlife, celebrating remembrance, community and life.
