Sound, voice, word is a performance gathering poets, singers and performers in a semi-circle around a music improviser, reading, reciting, singing or babbling, with spontaneity and dissidence as the rules and the basis for a collective piece. The performers are Carla Cías with sound, Ivy Tsui with dance and voice, and Montse Gallego and Charlie Folorunsho with voice and words. Ivy Tsui is a Hong Kong-born, London-based dance artist and choreographer whose practice centres on improvisation and the relationship between movement, sound, memory, language and identity. Montse Gallego, a multidisciplinary artist and founder of Hundred Years Gallery, brings her poetry to the event alongside Charlie Folorunsho, who has played on the London improv scene at venues including Boat Ting and Hundred Years Gallery.", "url": "https://noky.io/en/london/events/dissidences-7-sound-voice-word-36576/", "official_url": "http://hundredyearsgallery.co.uk/dissidences-7-sound-voice-word-saturday-14th-november-4-30/", "image": "", "dates": [{"start": "2026-11-14T16:30:00Z", "end": null, "place": "Hundred Years Gallery", "address": "Pearson Street 13, E2 8JD London", "tickets": ""}], "similar": [{"title": "Performance: felix taylor & Chloe Filani", "start": "2026-10-31T19:00:00Z", "end": null, "place": "The Mosaic Rooms", "address": "Cromwell Road 226, London", "price": "", "price_from": "0.00", "price_to": "0.00", "category": "theatre", "tags": ["literature/poetry", "stage/performance-art"], "description": "An improvised one-off performance of sound and poetry at The Mosaic Rooms.
