Diwali/Deepavali Dance & Stories is a relaxed, family-friendly workshop celebrating Diwali through movement, music and storytelling. Led by an experienced artist, it draws on Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance form: participants explore simple rhythmic movements, learn how salangai (traditional ankle bells) help dancers respond to music and tell stories, and bring Diwali stories to life through movement. The session includes a sensory experience and a shared cup of chai, welcoming families to discover and celebrate Diwali together. It is for ages 3 and up, runs 45 minutes, and is free with a Discover Entry ticket.
