A free, hands-on drop-in design workshop for families, running over several days. Led by architectural designer and educator Jahba Anan for RIBA Learning, it invites participants aged 5 and above to redesign an existing type of building or invent something new for a future city, imagining what a library, school or train station might look like in 2050. Working with recycled materials and taking inspiration from the Design 1900–Now galleries, participants make a mini model of their dream building and add it to a growing city of the future that changes over five days. It takes place at the V&A South Kensington, as RIBA's 66 Portland Place location is closed for a three-year refurbishment.
