Dünyada, meaning "on earth", is a formally adventurous solo theatre performance that tears the fabric of the one-person play through cinematic camera work, visual extension and sound design. Internationally acclaimed actor and director Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu brings it to Voila! Theatre Festival, reimagining Will Eno's celebrated monologue Title and Deed. A man arrives with a suitcase, a camera, and a voice that seems sad somehow, offering an evocative exploration of alienation and belonging and an existential look at love and death in a digital age. Nuroğlu manages lighting and soundscapes in real-time, creating a parallax between his physical body and his digital ghost; the result is intimate, funny, unsettling, and deeply human.
