A free lunchtime concert in the Shaw Library at the London School of Economics, given by violinist Emmanuel Bach and pianist Jennifer Stern. The duo, hosted by the LSE Arts Lunchtime Concert Series, will play Beethoven's Sonata No. 2 in A, Op. 12 No. 2 and Schumann's Sonata No. 2 in D minor, Op. 121. Bach has won the Royal Over-Seas League Strings Competition 2018, played as co-soloist with Anne-Sophie Mutter and performed at Wigmore Hall, while Stern teaches at Eton College and the RCM Junior Department and appears widely as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist.
